EASTER

EASTER IS ABOUT JESUS THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD BEING RAISED FROM DEATH!

ST. MARK 16:1-8

And when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary, the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
and very early in the morning , the first day of the wee, they came unto the sepulcher at the rising of the sun.
And they said among themselves, who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulcher?
And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right side clothed in a long white garment, and they were afraid.
And he said unto them, " Be not afraid.  Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth which was crucified; He is risen! He is not here, behold the place where  they lay him Rather, go your way and tell his disciples and Peter that he go
before you into Galilee.  There shall ye see him, as he said unto you."  And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulcher for they trembled and was amazed! Neither said they anything to any man for they were afraid.

A TEENAGER'S PRAYER

A Teenager's Prayer
I shared this poem because I think teenagers ought to be reminded that their is a need for them to pray as well.

Each day brings new beginnings
decisions I must make
I am the only one to choose
the road that I will take.

I can choose to take the road of life
that leads to great success
or travel down the darkened road
that leads to great distress.

Please open up my eyes, dear Lord'
that I might clearly see
help me stand for what is right
Bring out the best in me.

Help me, Lord, to just say "no
when temptation comes my way
that I might keep my body clean
and fit for life each day.

When my teenage years are over,
I know that I will see
that life is lived its very best '
with you walking next to me.  J. Morse
