EASTER IS ABOUT JESUS THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD BEING RAISED FROM DEATH!

ST. MARK 16:1-8

And when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary, the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
and very early in the morning , the first day of the wee, they came unto the sepulcher at the rising of the sun.
And they said among themselves, who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulcher?
And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right side clothed in a long white garment, and they were afraid.
And he said unto them, " Be not afraid.  Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth which was crucified; He is risen! He is not here, behold the place where  they lay him Rather, go your way and tell his disciples and Peter that he go
 before you into Galilee.  There shall ye see him, as he said unto you."  And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulcher for they trembled and was amazed! Neither said they anything to any man for they were afraid.

GOD MAKES A SERIOUS OFFER, HEBREW 7:27

God offered us salvation by giving up his one and only son to die for the sins of the whole wide world. Now, that was a serious offer, and he  went through with all of his offers.  I believe that God wants us be serious in our walk with him too.  How many times have you witnessed people sing songs of Zion and haven't really submitted totally to God?  Just think about it, are we really serious when we sing songs like, "Lord I want to be a Christian in my heart, and when we sing songs like, Lord make me over, make me over again?"

Many of us know this, so this is just a reminder that God wants us to increase our faith, and Satan wants us to decrease our faith, it sounds simple, but It' really a deep subject.  You see, Satan knows that if you can faith it, everything's going to be okay because God's got you.  You see, faith is having an unwavering confidence in God. God wants to know can you trust him even when you don't like what he's doing. A lot of times God does things I don't like, but if I want the victory, I need to trust that he's got the situation in control.

I always here people say, God is good, and I'm hear to set the record straight, God is awesome! When I think about all the things God, Our Heavenly Father, has done for me  and my family, I can truly without a doubt that God is better than good.  The God I serve is awesome because he's there when friends turn their backs on me.

I DECIDED TO ADD THIS PASSAGE OF SCRIPTURE BECAUSE GOD WANTS US TO IT REMINDED ME OF A DREAM THAT I HAD YEARS BACK, AND THE DREAM GOD, TOLD ME IN A DREAM THAT HE WOULD PREPARE A TABLE BEFORE ME IN THE PRESENCE OF MY ENEMIES. MEANING THAT MY ENEMIES WILL SEE GOD WORKING ON MY BEHALF AND HE WOULD NOT LET ME BE MADE ASHAMED OR FALL IN FRONT OF THEM.

 

PSALM 23

 

"THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD, I SHALL NOT BE IN WANT.  HE MAKES ME LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES. HE LEADS ME BESIDE QUIET WATERS. HE RESTORES MY SOUL.  HE GUIDES ME IN PATHS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR HIS NAME'S SAKE. Proverbs 1:1-9:18

The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel;

for attaining wisdom and discipline for understanding words of insight; for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life doing what is right and just and fair; for giving prudence to the simple knowledge and discretion to the young; let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise.  The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
EXORTATIONS TO EMBRACE WISDOM

Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching.  They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.
These passages of scriptures have helped me seek for wisdom from God and you can too.

 

WORK AND REST

Genesis 2:2-3niv
We live in an action-oriented world!  There always seems to be something to do and no time to rest.  Yet God demonstrated that rest is appropriate and right.  If God himself rested from his work. We should not be surprised that we also need rest.  Jesus demonstrated this principle when he and his disciples left in a boat to get away from the crowds. Our times of rest refresh us for times of service.
That God blessed the seventh day means that he set it apart for holy use.  The Ten Commandments emphasizes this distinction by commanding the observance of the Sabbath.

HOW IS A SPIRITUAL HOUSE BUILT?

When people say they are working on their spiritual house.  Do you know exactly are they talking about?

That's enough!  At that moment, the angel of the Lord was by the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite." Verse seventeen says, “When David saw the angel, he said to the Lord, "I am the one who has sinned and done wrong! And these people are innocent- what have they done?  Let your anger fall against me and my family."(NLT)
